State of Emergency
Today was the first day after the state of emergency was declared in Sofia. I wanted to stay at home, but Miguel insisted we took a walk in the park, avoiding contact with other people or the most crowded areas in the main promenade. I said yes.
During the whole walk, I felt uncomfortable. There were noticeably fewer people than the week before, but people don’t really respect any safety distance and I felt like dodging people all the time. Finally, we arrived at the park and found a quiet spot, but soon enough a guy coughing got near us and made us some questions about the city in English. He may have been a tourist (unlikely) or perhaps another lost nomad trapped in the city.
I decided to stay at home as much as possible.
