Next stop: Rijeka, Croatia

Hello! Yesterday we arrived in Rijeka, Croatia. It was already dark so we could not really get a glimpse of the city. However, today I will take some time to explore the place when I finish writing these lines.

My first impressions are quite good! It’s a beautiful and tranquil town by the sea. A lot of restaurants, cafes and places to go. We took a flight to Venice and then we traveled to Rijeka by bus. It’s just a short, three hours trip, and it allowed us to see the magnific scenery of the Croatian forests. We also saved a lot of money on flight tickets and actually time spent in airports.

We have an apartment very close to the sea, in front of one of the canals of the port and the Theater. The apartment is just fantastic, recently renovated, but quite affordable.

I will write a detailed article about life in Rikeja for digital nomads soon, but for now, I just wanted to give you a quick update. We will spend here the last three months of the year, and the place looks promising.
