Flowing in bright streams,
Hues of grey, white, and bright light,
Soft clouds passing by
Today is a grey day in Lisbon. The clouds cover the sky and seem to move fast, clashing, fighting, kissing each other. Down below, the river is pearly blue. It is a magnificent view.
Everybody seems to love warm sunny days, but I do happen to love grey days too. And rainy days. Of course, the fact that in Portugal is almost spring now in January helps a lot. Knowing that the sun's still there, behind the clouds, and will eventually shine on you helps you appreciate and enjoy the cloudy or rainy days.
