The Daily Haiku of Jan 24. Restless.
Restless, down below,
stars shining, waters glowing,
the moon, always sad.
I was not sure I would be able to finish today's Daily Haiku, but I was finally able to do it, even though technically it's Jan 25 already. There's something about the darkest hours of the night that brings you peace. All the noise is gone, everybody's asleep, and nothing distracts you.
It's the perfect time to focus on something.
I just to work for an American startup some time ago, and the CEO told me once that he was only able to work comfortably at dawn, when the kids were sleeping and all rush and noise had stopped.
I should be tired as heck, and I am, but somehow I am feeling a strange sense of peace right now. Time to go to sleep. Tomorrow will be a new day.
