Rijeka, Fiume.

Rijeka is a beautiful Mediterranean city. It has (and has had) many names, such as Fiume, Tharsatica, Vitopolis or Flumen, and most of them mean "river" (Rijeka is river in Croatian).

I spent there the autumn of 2019, and I fell in love with the city. It's such a relaxing town, by the sea, with amazing sunsets, a small but active underground scene, and many interesting things to do. There's this mediterranean vibe that makes you feel relaxed and energized at the same time. One of the places I wouldn't mind settling down when I retire.
